The committee
created
a sanctuary for reflection on the AIDS epidemic by draping the
courtyard of the San Francisco Art Institute with 8' x 12' sheets of
reflective mylar. The mylar both enclosed the courtyard creating
a meditative space while also reflecting the viewer,
metaphorically connecting them with the condition of AIDS in
our community and at large. |

The
mylar
created
beautiful
and
unexpected
reflections
with the
movement of light and wind . |
